Wadi Rum (travel blog)

This weekend we went to a place called "Wadi-Rum", which is basically a desert where you can camp in and drive, drift, etc your car for fun. so anyways it all started when my mom surprised me the day before the weekend, she said "hey Samy We're going to Wadi Rum tomorrow Isn't that cool", I freaked out I was so happy while my brother was looking at his phone and just nicked his head like it was nothing special. I got angry about that since it's such a beautiful magical historical wonderful place but my brother is a bit weird sometimes and I don't quite understand him so I decided to deal with it.

On
the second day in the morning, we ate breakfast quick so we could hop into our car and start driving. the ride was 3 hours long and when we passed the one-hour mark thunder showed up stroking bolts of Lightning next to us which was a bit scary but also nice because you don't always see this in nature such a wonderful thing that happens but it doesn't always lead to good. later on, when we arrived I was surprised that they weren't any streets it was just a plain desert that surrounded us and we weren't quite sure where to go and where to find our camp till my dad's friend led us there and gave us a tour of the desert, it was quite bumpy cuz it had just had rained from the thunderstorm I talked about earlier

Then we met our German friends and played football with them and ran around the desert and just had fun together, tell my mom said are you ready guys pack your things we are going on a desert tour to see all the old artifacts and things from the past. I was excited since the last time I did this was about 5 years ago. the ride was a bit uncomfortable because we were 9 people in a 6 seater but that did not change the fact that we saw many beautiful things that were all I thought don't actually exist and were just Photoshop edits. we were also riding camels which were not very comfortable but don't judge a book by its cover. everyone was very tired but also hungry so we got H Foods cooked Underground in a metal box that has a fire under it, the food we're vegetable chicken and some type of stew. the next morning we had breakfast which was not as good as dinner but still not bad, then I and my Dad decided to drive out alone and I got to actually drive the car myself without my dad telling me what to do it might seem illegal but there are barely any rules in the desert I even saw a 13-year-old driving with others not minding. after all that, we sat on a sheet of plastic and got pulled by a car which was super fun it was a very pleasant experience and I wish we could do this more often. and I'm the way you saw men with guns riding on horses chasing a train probably for a movie or something like that since many movies have been made here
